You will usually hear back within the hour — at no cost, with no sales push and no quiet add-ons down the line. Anything you send stays with All Some Movers right here in Houston and travels no further than our office.

Drive west on the Katy Freeway past the Grand Parkway and the neighborhoods open up into one master-planned subdivision after another. Damon Pierce started All Some Movers in 2012, and his crew has logged enough Katy mornings to know that a Cinco Ranch gatehouse needs the access code cleared the night before, that a Cross Creek Ranch HOA posts its own move-in window, and that an older slab home off Old Katy Road carries differently than a two-story new build. Out here the truck that pulls up the driveway and every set of hands working the boxes is on All Some’s own payroll, never a contractor and never another carrier.

How Damon’s crew preps a Katy address before load day

Final piece onto the truck
Final piece onto the truck

Gated entries, HOA rules, and the I-10 commute all shape the morning, so we walk your home and confirm the details well ahead of the date your boxes need to move.

  • Gated master-planned homes (Cinco Ranch, Cross Creek Ranch): we get the gate code and the HOA move window squared away days out so the truck is never stuck at the entrance.
  • Two-story new builds (near the Grand Parkway): staircases and bonus rooms get the headcount they need, with the heavy bedroom sets blanketed before they ever round a landing.
  • Older slab homes (Old Katy near Avenue D): tighter driveways and mature trees where we stage the rig close and keep the carry path clear.
  • Summer-heat scheduling: a Katy August can hit triple digits, so Damon rolls crews out at first light to load before the worst of it settles in.

What an All Some Katy move costs, written down first

Our own trucks, movers on the All Some payroll

  • Ring us and Damon or another All Some staffer answers in person, never a rented call floor
  • Whatever the contract reads is what you hand over at the curb — no move-day surcharges, no inflated line items.
  • A single All Some crew packs, loads and unloads from start to finish
  • Every load carries $1M in coverage, and your high-rise or HOA office gets its COI the same day
  • If something goes wrong, Damon reviews the claim himself, and it never leaves our office

× Broker chain

  • Anything you submit elsewhere lands in a call floor and gets resold to the next low bidder.
  • A delivery-day bill quietly fattened with surprise “add-ons”
  • A truck you do not recognize shows up with a crew of total strangers
  • COI and building paperwork you wind up tracking down on your own
  • Damage claims brushed off with a “that was another contractor” line

Most Katy homes price as one flat band put on paper before we wrap a thing. A studio runs $400 to $650, a one-bedroom $650 to $1,050, a two-bedroom $1,050 to $1,750, a three-bedroom $1,750 to $2,850, and a roomy four-bedroom $2,800 to $4,400. That figure holds even if the Cinco Ranch gate keeps us waiting or the Katy Freeway crawls. Want to pay by the clock instead? Two of our movers run $120/hr, three go $165/hr, and four reach $215/hr. An upright piano adds $280 to $450 and a baby grand $480 to $820, each folded into the quoted total.

A slow gate code at Cross Creek Ranch lands on All Some, not your bill

Because Damon signs the price up front, an HOA window that runs tight or a backed-up stretch of I-10 is ours to eat, not a surcharge that shows up on your invoice. Everything you own ships with $1M in cargo coverage, full-value protection is yours to add, and any claim stays open for nine months after delivery. If your sale and your purchase fall out of step, we hold your things in climate-controlled storage at roughly $110 to $260 a month by unit size.

Leaving Katy for another state entirely? All Some drives those long hauls on trucks we own with the crew we employ, so the same people who carry your sofa down the Cinco Ranch driveway set it up at the far end. We never interline the load, hand it to a destination agent, or relay it to a stranger. Reach Damon direct at (888) 711-4778.

Questions Katy households put to All Some first

Our Cinco Ranch community needs a gate code and an HOA-approved move window before any truck rolls in. Does All Some Movers handle that?
We do, and on most gated Katy jobs that prep is part of the booking. We confirm the gate code and lock the HOA move window with you a few days ahead, then schedule the crew to fit inside it. Since All Some owns its trucks and runs its own people, you have nothing to chase down and the gate never stalls your move-in. If your community wants a heads-up from the moving company, Damon's office takes care of that call too.
Katy summers are brutal. How does All Some keep a load moving when it is over a hundred degrees off the Grand Parkway?
Gulf-Coast heat is the everyday adversary here, so Damon starts Katy crews at first light to get the bulk of the loading done before the worst of the afternoon. We shrink-wrap and pad in stages, keep water on the truck, and rotate the heavy carries so nobody burns out on a two-story staircase. A standard three-bedroom Katy home tends to land between $1,750 and $2,850 on one flat written rate, with the early start and the heat planning already built into that figure.
Is All Some Movers a real Katy moving company, or do you pass my job to somebody else?
Yes, we are the moving company, with no third party behind the name. All Some is Texas-licensed and insured, USDOT and MC authority, founded in 2012 by Damon Pierce, a Houston native. Every Katy move from Cinco Ranch to Old Katy runs on trucks we own and crews we pay on a W-2 basis, never brokered, matched, or relayed to another carrier. Whoever walks your home and names the price is the same All Some crew that pulls up the driveway on moving day.
