Effective: June 1, 2026

All Some Movers, a relocation outfit headquartered on Summer Street that serves Houston along with the wider metro and points beyond, owns and operates the website found at allsome-movers.com. Reading what we publish here, or putting through a request for an estimate, signals that the conditions laid out below sit fine with you.

The party on the other side of your agreement

No fog around this part: we are the movers. The trucks rolling up belong to us, the people unloading them collect a company W-2, and the licensing on file all carries this company’s name:

  • In-state licenseTxDMV Mover Registration
  • Interstate authorityUS DOT 3491205 alongside MC authority
  • Your contractStruck straight with All Some Movers
  • FounderDamon Pierce, a Houston fixture since 2012

Not once is a broker wedged between the two of us. Here is the flow: your request arrives, Alicia draws up a fixed written figure and returns it, and the second you say yes, the relocation deal binds you to All Some by itself, with not a soul slotted in the gap.

How your goods are protected

Each job builds upward off the federal floor and layers $1M cargo coverage across what is on the truck.

Coverage tier What it gives you
Standard released value (interstate) Sixty cents per pound, the rate set by federal rules by default until you opt up
Upgraded full-value protection, priced at 1 to 3 percent Coverage pegged to your declared worth right across the shipment, a smart pick where breakables or pricey items ride along

Should you ever need to file, it heads straight to the Summer Street office, falls inside a nine-month claim period, and at no phase does it get routed to any third party.

Why the figure you are quoted holds firm

The number named on the binding quote in your hands is what governs the day, measured against the goods list plus the entry conditions spelled out on that very document.

  • Where the job shifts in a genuine way, an entire room added or pulled, or access turning out unlike the briefing we got, a corrected figure reaches you comfortably before the booked day.
  • With everything off the truck, no fresh charge surfaces unless you had cleared it with us beforehand.

Pricing a move carries no charge

Finding out the cost of your relocation runs you nothing, and no surprise fees hide inside the work:

  • Zero charge to lock in a booking
  • Zero charge for the paperwork
  • Zero percentage shaved off any invoice
  • Your bill comes to one thing alone, the fixed sum written across the binding quote, and falls due as the final carton clears the ramp

Reserving a day, then stepping back out

To pin your slot on the schedule, a deposit you get back, running somewhere between $100 and $200, does the trick.

If you Then
Give roughly three days’ heads-up before the reserved date arrives Your deposit comes back whole
Call it off the same morning the crew is due A slice may stay behind to offset hours the crew had already blocked

The binding cancellation terms travel with the quote you print

That printed copy lays out the precise cancellation wording. What appears in this section is a sketch of the common scenario; the printout itself is the authority that prevails.

The ceiling on our liability

On any job performed against a signed binding quote, three sources jointly cap what All Some answers for:

  • Whatever conditions appear in print across that quote
  • For a leg moving across state lines, the interstate household-goods code, meaning 49 CFR § 375 and the sections following it
  • For a leg that never leaves Texas, the matching in-state relocation statute

To whatever extent the law will allow, our maximum exposure is capped by whatever cargo-coverage sum is printed on that same quote.

Read this as background, not counsel

Take the whole of these pages, the FAQ replies, the lane descriptions, the neighborhood rundowns, as general reading on the subject of moving and not a step further. Nowhere does it stand in for advice from a tax pro, an attorney, or a financial planner. Where your relocation runs up against probate, a marital split, or business ownership, sit down with the right credentialed expert first.

Keeping it honest on the request form

When you fill in the estimate form, two things are expected from your side:

  • Hand over true particulars, both ZIP codes, the date you are after, and a goods list that squares with reality.
  • Steer clear of bogus or auto-generated repeat entries; anything submitted by a bot gets turned away.

We retain the option to turn down a job for whatever cause Texas law, and the applicable federal rules, happen to permit.

Your okay for phone and text contact

By submitting the form, you let All Some circle back via whichever phone line or address you supplied, automated texts among them where that suits. Carrier message and data rates may apply.

Updates ahead

This text gets reworked every so often, with the effective date up top traveling along on each revision. Keep visiting, or send in a later request, and that reads as your acceptance.
